What is your favorite part about working at Image Management?

My favorite part is working directly with the clients. I enjoy helping them with their sites to increase traffic and leads for their company. Within the last few months I have been able to help clients from Southeast Wisconsin, California and even Europe. By working with clients on a more personal level than I would be able to at a large corporation, I am able to meet the unique needs for each company, such as building comparison tools, or creating Google ads.

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

Talking to my fiancée on Skype is definitely my favorite hobby since she is away at college. In addition to our Skype calls, once a week I get to Skype with her, my parents, and my sister and nephew. I also enjoy learning more about coding and building websites during my free time all year round, but during the warmer months I also enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, and playing soccer with friends. I have not always been a big fan of sports, but being born and raised in Wisconsin I do enjoy watching the Brewers, Packers and Badgers.

What has been your favorite project so far at Image Management?

My favorite project thus far has been working on the Komatsu comparison tool for the North American division, because I was able to expand my skill set to write the program. I had to take what I had learned in school in order to start the base of the code and then expand to build the custom tool for the client.

What's your favorite food?

My favorite type of food is Mexican food. Through my church I was able to serve for 2 years in a Hispanic community and grew to love the food even more than the Taco Bell I ate growing up. I still love Taco Bell but I also love authentic food like pozole, street tacos, mole poblano, and even menudo. I also like my food spicy. I can eat very few meals without adding some spice, such as Valentina or Sriracha sauce. Though Mexican food is my favorite I will eat just about anything put in front of me. In college, one of my greatest achievements was eating two 24oz. pie-shakes in less than 3 minutes! A pie shake means adding a whole slice of pie to a milkshake.

What's your favorite inspirational quote? Who is your role model?

“All out dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney

It's probably different to have a cartoonist as a role model, but I have been a fan of him and the Florida amusement park since I first went there as a little kid. He was fired by a newspaper editor because "he lacked imagination and had no good ideas." Luckily for all of us that are fans of Disney, he didn't let that stop him from continuing on. Like the quote above says he had the courage to pursue his dream and ran with it. I think we all can think about a dream that we have, but just haven't had the courage yet to pursue.
